starting right where part 2 ends (same night, moments after) this film doesn't hold a candle to it's predecessor. it does feature boobs though, and a kind of fun disco beat version of the theme and it's where jason gets his mask. can you say iconic? also the kills are pretty good too. it's just not as good as part 2, less original, lesser made, full of gimmicky 3d (could be good or bad depending how you look at it) and overall just not as iconic (except for the mask) as parts 1 and 2. also, one of the biker guys is a dead ringer for scott thompson; i could of sworn i was watching him the read

following the relative improvement that friday the 13th part 2, the third entry in the famous (infamous?) slasher franchise is a big step down in almost every way. steve miner returns to the director's chair but can't wrangle the horror fun that the second entry had. the script from a hodgepodge of writers is lifeless, with bland and indistinguishable characters spouting off poor dialogue. most of the cast is incapable of doing much with the script; where the first sequel had sufficiently natural talent this one has players who can't get past their stilted lines. the kills are weak with some... read
