in 1554, someone wrote "El Lazarillo de Tormes". it poke fun and criticized the society of that time through the eyes of a cocky boy. it got partially banned until 300 years later. in 1953, berlanga, mihura and bardem wrote "Bienvenido, Míster Marshall". it showed the (still) rural society of spain and its praise and fear to everything foreign while being funny. it magically managed to get through the censorship. in 1998, something (i'm sure santiago segura isn't sure of what he made so well in his comedy script) wrote "Torrente". it condensed all the despicable and dirty realities on the... read more
