that was... disappointing. the first film is definitely an overlooked film, being incredibly clever and well-written with good flow and great, quick pacing. everything felt realistic and cool. this movie has none of that. the flow is uneven and unnatural. the pacing is oddly slow in parts and fast in others, never letting you get a chance to get used to it. the plot starts believable but by the end the characters are performing tricks that are flat-out impossible. everyone is clearly giving it their all, from mark ruffalo to newcomer daniel radcliffe, its clear theyre all having fun. my read more

The first movie was pretty good and as usual with Hollywood they try to relive the popularity of the original but it just falls a bit flat. The one good thing is the cast is excellent with all the originals returning bar Isla Fisher who is amply replaced with Lizzy Caplan. Daniel Radcliffe is also added to cast this time around. The special effects are pretty good but there is nothing really new from the first. I also found it a bit long but others may find something here to like. read more
