i only appreciated the delirious final sequence. the rest of the film is riddled with bad acting, dumb plot, and technical sloppiness that i must have much less tolerance for than the true slasher/horror fans. watching stupid, vicious girls making bad decisions all the time was hard to take, especially in this oppressive summer weather im having to fucking endure. and worse, i kept comparing this film negatively to mother's day. props to mostly staying away from irritating jump scares, but that also means this film does not invoke any real sense of dread. read more
