Decent, good world building and very good first arc, but it has more seasons that what it should, most of them without a good climax

First the good: 

Spacecraft looks real, no "flow flight" for ships, they really look like actual space ships flying in the void, the way the series use all kind of detail like using the engine to decelerate, creating G force by de/accelerate, the idea of a sub-culture/race of humans not able to live on Earth anymore, etc. Very thinkful stuff, not original, i have already read those thing on other books but first time i see it in a TV/Movie like this. It's nice to watch a more "close to real" Space Opera, something that actually looks like a plausible future for human race.

The political "Game of Thrones" is good, at least for the 3 first seasons.

Dialogues can get very good, lines from Avasarala or Amos can be badass and cleaver, like real adult writing. Not always, but it has good moments, i appreciate that.

Now the bad:

The biggest problem in this series is that first season/arc is the best, the detective story of Miller/Jullie and the political game on Earth are the peak of the series , it doesn't recover from that; second arc is trash, the worst of the series. Third season/arc recovers a bit as the alien aspect of the story takes the spotlight. After that, seasons 4, 5 and 6 feels flat, inertial, i watch those 3 seasons just because i already invested the time to get there and i wanted a propper end, but no emotion, no real excitement.

All the good political game on ends on season 3 and it's replaced by a lower quality war against Inaros that feels cheap and fabricated. Earth and Mars feels deliberate nerf to make Inaros looks strong, but feels artificial.

Most good space action happens on early seasons. The only exception is the ending of season 6, and i mean literally the last episode, i think is a remarkable episode and a worthy ending for the series.

Overall I feel this show is decent, has good world building and very good first arc but has more seasons that what it should, most of them without a good climax.
