Animation: 8
Flashy
Animation style remained just as good as the previous season if not slightly improved.
Sound: 7
Clear
Basic OST that matched with the tone of the anime during various scenes. Voice acting crisp.
Character: 7
Recognizable
Character personalities were consistent as well as fun to be introduced to new characters that grasped interest. Many were very similar to some of the current characters we liked, but the slight spin on their motives and approaches (as well as slight changes in their character) is what makes them feel familiar despite being new to us which makes the excitement for meeting more people stronger.
Enjoyment: 6
Charming
Throughout the anime I was automatically in love with the art style and how and how we were presented with the story in chronological order leading up to modern events (which to me makes it a bit easier and quicker to understand why specific events may take place rather than waiting for it to be explained episodes down the line). Outside of the plot, which I thought was entertaining, I especially enjoyed how the viewer could like Midoriya's character for his determination and work ethic as well as how watching him overcome each obstacle felt like an accomplishment for us. It was a very personal energy shared between getting to see his internal struggles as well as the external work put into his dreams that a lot of people can relate to in their own lives; I think bridging this fourth wall was what made it feel as if we were in his shoes and allowed us to cheer him on throughout the show.
